The units IP-VPN solution, built over Asias largest backbone, is able to provide state-of-the-art reach to more than 500 cites in more than70 countries. In additional, a technology-independent MPLS (multi-protocol label switching) network covers 200 markets in 50 countries. This was the second consecutive year that the Best International Leased Lines title had been awarded to PCCW. NETWORK ENGINEER - I Job Description The Network Engineer I will report to a supervisor. Must assists in the development, improvement and maintenance of the network. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements. While shift work is not a requirement, there will be frequent interaction with overseas colleagues and partners. This will require a flexible working schedule, as there will be tasks that need to be performed outside of normal business hours. Must be willing to be on-call. Skills Required:
